Day 6 : Feral Rehab

This one will be the first to be ready to find a forever home.  The runt and a male.  He is shy, but tolerates holding and kisses on the forhead.

This one, not so much.  I have yet to pick this fella up.  I am a bit intimidated by his/her spunky spitfire nature.  The other gray will be a little work, but I can pick him/her up with a slight struggle.

Day 3 Baby Steps

This is the most docile of the feral kittens.  He is more scared than angry, so I take him out of the cage and hold him for a while.  He is not happy about it and I can tell he is just tolerating it.  But, give me time.  Now, if the other two would stop attacking my hand when I touch them, then I could get somewhere....

Alliance Feral Kitten Rescue

These three babies were found running around downtown Alliance.  People were feeding them and the momma, but some were saying that they wanted to get rid of them and or poison them.  Can you imagine?  Human's are pieces of shit! Sorry, but it is true.  Thankfully a woman cared enough to try to help.  She trapped them and posted on Facebook for help because she really did not know what to do with them.  This is where the power of Facebook can be great.  I saw the post and being within 15-20 minute drive from her, I offered to take them.  You know me....I had to do something!  They are a couple weeks older than my normal kitten rescue, so I hope the can tame down a lot in the next few weeks.  In order to find good homes for these guys time-is-of-the-essence.  We all know how hard it can be to find bigger kitties homes these days.    But, at least these sweeties are well fed and out of danger.

Bye Bye Lil Baby

Sammy had to go back to the humane society, but they said that he'd get a home in less than 5 days.  So, I am sure his hanging with them by now.  Good luck sweetie.  We miss you!
